just wear the swimsuit, overcome the fear of deep waters, it’s ok that you capsized in the kayak because you were too busy looking at the rocks and had to get an elderly American couple to help you, it’s ok to pretend you know how to kayak even though we all know your brothers doing all the hard work, eat as many tropical foods with carved letters in it as you can (we all know the pineapple won’t be the same at home)🍍, eat as much ube ice cream as you can, it’s ok to buy the shell bracelets and anklets that won’t get to see winter🐚, just buy the key ring you’ll never use, feel free to imagine you’re in a pirates of the Caribbean movie when you island hop, do recognise that being able to see palawan is such a blessing, don’t take it for granted this isn’t your normal everyday, stop being so fearful, do it scared + don’t be ashamed to take as many photos as you can📸

here’s to a breathtaking, tropical, sunburnt end to an amazing trip🌴

1. sky ranch! after losing terribly at the games we played bumper cars, took photos and called it a night
2. celebrating mum’s 50th 7 months later with food, karaoke, food + cake
3. reuniting with ate cherry + abby as they showed us Crosswinds in tagaytay at sunset

8. our first time trying bulalo which is kinda like a signature beef dish in tagaytay. there was also live music ft delicious harmonies too
9. our beautiful tito’s and tita with granny, all reunited together again - this moment’s got joy all over it

to my family in the Philippines mahal ko kayo🌺 it’s so unique to have everyone together it’s been 8 years since we last came to visit the Philippines for the first time and I’m praying it won’t be this long till we next see each other!

turned 28 in savannah, georgia🌞

normally I put a list of how my day unfolds and what I’m thankful for but I just spent the morning with Jesus, ate brunch with my best friend, explored and gazed at pretty houses under mossy trees, drank iced coffee, took pretty photos and wrote stuff

…birthday lists are something I’ll never not be able to do.

Oh! and I also wrote 28 thoughts (that could be poems) to mark my 28th birthday! Imperfect as they are some of these are pretty raw but it’s my delight to tell you I finished it and I would love for you to read it but obviously no pressure.. maybe make a coffee and snuggle up on a cosy chair for this one? ☕️✍🏽💬 (link in bio)
